Emily and Ryan’s wedding on beautiful Brandy Pond

Emily and Ryan said ‘I Do’ on the shore of Brandy Pond in Naples, Maine last Saturday witnessed by family, friends and two of the cutest pugs you’ll ever see. Again, the weather cooperated and we had a beautiful warm day; a perfect start to summer!

The highlight of the evening was their first dance which was to Anyone Else But You, by The Moldy Peaches, sung charmingly by friends of the bride and groom. Emily sang sweetly to Ryan as they danced for the first time as husband and wife.  Thanks for sharing your day with me Em and Ryan, have fun on your road-trip honeymoon!

A classic Maine island wedding – Kirsten and Tray

There is nothing more perfect than a Maine island wedding, and Saturday’s nuptials between Kirsten and Tray were no exception. Unpredictably, the rain held off all day, and the sun even peeked through the clouds during the ceremony! Kirsten and Tray’s wedding was  a fun celebration of two wonderful people with a great group of friends. The Peak’s Island  Jones Landing setting was perfect for their ‘flip-flop chic’ theme, and as always Black Tie Co., put out a great spread! The guests were treated to a big surprise when the girls arrived by lobster boat and walked up the dock right into the ceremony! Congratulations K.O. and Tray, have fun in Hawaii!

Linnea and David’s Falmouth to Portland engagement shoot

Friday was a summer-like spring day here in Maine, and a great day for Linnea and Dave’s engagement shoot. We started out at a family home in Falmouth Foreside where Linnea has summered since she was a child, and then moved onto the Old Port for some more funky shots.
For the Old Port portion of the shoot Linnea and Dave donned their swanky cowboy boots; this cool couple was getting looks all throughout Portland, I’m sure people were wondering who the famous pair was! See you guys again in a few months!

Maggie and Matt’s Engagement Session in Portsmouth

I had never actually met Maggie and Matt in person until their engagement shoot in Portsmouth last weekend, but by the end of the shoot they felt like old friends! We had so much fun, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire is a perfect backdrop for an engagement shoot. Maggie and Matt are renting a trolley for their wedding party, and I’m sure we’ll be visiting some of the same locations with the whole crew on the big day! See you in September!

Max turns two!

I just love this series of photos from my nephew Max’s 2nd birthday photo shoot. I was so happy to be back in Minnesota for Max’s birthday week (really, the festivites did go on for a week)! Does anyone else know a two-year old who had his birthday party at a Japanese hibachi restaurant?

I’m not sure what to call this series? A quad-tych? What does two diptych’s make?
